Jacob Meador is a 2019 RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Burleson, TX who attends Centennial HS. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. Big straight leg raise delivery, bounces on his back leg, high 3/4's arm slot on his fastball. Fastball topped out at 93 mph early, mostly straight. Throws his curveball from a lower slot than his fastball and will have to make the adjustment, best curveballs at lower velocities, good curveball spin and shape and lands them for strikes. Developing change up. Very slow to the plate from the stretch due to the high leg raise. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas Christian.
