Mychal "Mickey" Fry is a 2017 3B/RHP, OF, UT with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Sachse, TX who attends Sachse HS. Large build with an athletic build, plenty of room to fill out as he continues to get stronger. From the infield, quick lateral movement showing particularly good range to his glove side. Solid arm velocity from the outfield reaching up to 83 MPH. Will see improvements defensively as he works through the baseball more from both the infield and the outfield. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base. Middle of the field to pull side approach, has raw power to pull side. Present strength in swing. On the mound, throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long and quick arm action. Had very good run on fastball, developing feel for command. Named to Top Prospect List.
