Charlie Welch is a 2018 C with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Florida Virtual HS. Strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, late draw back load from a spread open stance, has some hand quickness, front side can be early at times, pull approach, has some bat speed and ability to drive the ball but timing still needs adjustments. 7.24 runner, has good quickness behind the plate, moves laterally well, quick transfer and release, 1.90 best pop time. Excellent student.
