Josh Jano is a 2017 C/OF/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends McKeel Academy of Technology. Jano has a medium sized frame with some present strength. Defensively he throws with a long arm action with developing arm strength up to 69 MPH. Jano stands to throw and has a longer release. He has developing catch and throw tools with some foot quickness. At the plate, Jano uses a middle of the field approach and went gap to gap well in his BP round. He has a short compact swing to the ball and gets good extension. Jano has a simple swing and consistently squared the ball up. His hands work well in his swing and he has some bat speed. Jano's best tool is the bat . Excellent student.
