Jorge Iza is a 2016 3B/MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Key Biscayne, FL who attends Florida Christian. Medium frame with quality present build and projectable strength still remaining. Hits from wide base with slightly opened stance, very quick to the ball with good bat speed and projectable strength off the barrel. Has natural lift in swing with present extra base power; as frame fills out, power should develop into the HR variety. Creates extension through contact. Shows solid range in the infield with longer strides and good first step quickness. Gets on top of throws and shows good arm strength across the infield, topping at 80 MPH. Has some fluidity in actions throughout entire game. Good student.
