Nolan (Nonie) Williams is a 2016 SS with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Kansas City, KS who is home schooled. Very strong and athletic build, young look and still has plenty of projection. Very fast especially considering his size, 6.51 in the sixty. Quick actions on defense in the middle infield, has soft hands, very good raw arm strength, routes through the ball still young but makes up for it with raw athleticism, charges the ball well with a quick release, can see scouts liking him as a potential centerfielder moving forward. Switch-hitter who is relatively new to hitting left handed, hit just right handed in the showcase games. Long and strong right handed swing, has lots of raw power, tends to drift into contact with a large leg lift trigger, looks to pull and lift. Left handed swing showed high level potential and should be encouraged, was shorter to the ball with better balance, not as much lift and juice but a better contact oriented swing with a better timer. Young player who has reclassified to the 2016 class recently and has not faced as much high level competition as his peers. Good student. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic Team.
