Ryan Wallace is a 2018 LHP/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends Park Vista Community HS. On the mound he stays tall throughout the delivery creating downhill plane, drives down the mound in to long stride, compact arm action with arm speed, and 3/4 release. Fastball ranged from 78 to 80 miles per hour showing arm side run. Curveball was really impressive at 60 miles per hour and 1/7 arc showing both sharp break and lots of depth. Commanded the zone with both pitches, was a first pitch strike machine, getting ahead of the hitters consistently and dominating the bottom of the zone. In the outfield he showed a good first step to the ball, set up online to the bag, threw with arm strength and accuracy to the bag. At the plate he has a square stance, shift to the rear leg with leg lift stride, lands open and torqued position, great launch position, rotates with bat speed and good feel for contact. Outstanding Student.
