Alex Munroe is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Davenport, FL who attends Ridge Community HS. Mature medium build with good present strength. Compact arm action and hides the ball well, 3/4's arm slot, pretty hard and closed on his front side. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, has been up to 90 at PG events in the past, works both sides of the plate well with some running life, throws his fastball for strikes. Slurve type breaking ball with good spin and depth to it at times. Tends to slow arm speed on developing change up. Pitches aggressively and challenges hitters. Very good student, verbal commitment to Miami.
