Brian Rey is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Deltona, FL who attends Deltona HS. Medium athletic build with broad shoulders and some present strength. Right handed hitter, has quick hands and a short and direct line drive swing, hands really work well driving the barrel, pull to mid field hard contact, barrel has some whip to it and he can handle velocity, high average hitting tools. 7.06 runner, long and loose arm action, stays low to the ground and fields out front, gets on top of his throws well, can make the off balance athletic play but will sometimes get careless on the routine play. Has good overall tools and the bat was impressive. Good student, signed with North Florida.
