Will Drake is a 2016 1B/3B, RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Naperville, IL who attends Neuqua Valley. Large frame with an atheltic build. Slightly open and upright stance. Present strength to swing and creates loft. Hands and barrel have fluidity and creates carry to the gaps. Repeats swing with conistent barrel contact and shows good rhythm throughout swing. Looks primarily to pull side and shows some pop to opposite field when front side stays on contact. Clean glove actions at 1B and shows softness in hands. Smooth pivot on double play throws to 2nd. Fluid throwing mechanics and generates good backspin with carry on throws to 3rd. Highly projectable body.
