Evan Wissen is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Bellemont, AZ who attends Flagstaff HS. Tall, strongly built, thicker, mature frame. Moves well for his size on the infield and has a short, compact arm action. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and uses his lower half well. Tops at 79 mph and with solid plane. Mixes a 12-6 curveball at 68 mph with solid depth. Mixes a 72 mph changeup. Flashes arm strength and hands work well. Throws show carry. Bats right-handed, works from a narrow, upright setup and loads his hands low. Hits to the opposite field well. Knows how to lift the ball and looks to hit for power. Flashes bat speed.
