Jaret LaCagnina is a 2016 LHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Naples HS. Slender athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Smooth, easy delivery with good extension out front, arm works well from a high 3/4's to over the top release point, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, have seen in the 80-82 mph range frequently in the past year, gets good arm side running action at times. Soft curveball gets some 1/7 depth at times. Commands both pitches well and has an idea how to pitch. Very good student.
