Alexander Atamer is a 2016 1B/ with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Vero Beach, FL who attends John Carroll. Atamer has a medium build with a lean frame. Has room to fill out. Hits from a square upright stance. Toe tap trigger into a line drive swing. Does good job staying inside the baseball and using the whole field. Good balance and extension through the baseball. Makes good contact and shows strength in swing. Defensively, has quick release at first base and does good job fielding the ball in middle of body with sure hands. Outstanding student.
