2006 California Underclass
Sean Harris is a 2007 RHP/OF from Woodcreek HS, residing in Roseville, CA, with a 6'2" 150 lb. frame. He has a slender frame and in general the word long comes to mind. He has long arms, a long neck, and thin legs. On the mound Harris showed a loose arm action with good balanced mechanics. He went after hitters. His velocity will increase as he makes strength gains. Harris pitched from a 3/4 slot with a long arm action and created pretty good arm speed. He is somewhat projectable with that long body and arm action. His FB was up to 82 mph and he showed three pitches. On offense Harris hit from a square stance and did a nice job of staying in the middle of the field. He appeared to be pretty raw but aggressive and showed surpising gap to gap power in BP. Harris has decent hands and good timing with a flat swing plane. He got the barrel to the ball and was pretty interesting with the bat. He is a must follow for local college programs. His arm is good and will be better when his body matures.
