Jonathan Cruz is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 5-11 153 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Cristo Los Milagros Academy. Slender build, very young look, minimal present strength. Sound repeatable pitching mechanics, tight 3/4's arm slot, compact arm action, arm works well coming through. Consistent mid 70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, cuts fastball often. Nice curveball, gets good velocity and big sweeping break. Throws strikes with both pitches and competes, has an idea. Very young southpaw who projects, could really improve with additional strength.
