Riley Hogan is a 2016 3B/MIF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Edgewater HS. Big and strong athletic build, good present strength with room for more. Switch-hitter, better bat speed and feel for hitting left handed at present, fluid swing with some lift out front, shifts weight well, swing is more rotational right handed, line drive swing plane, tends to start his hands low from both sides of the plate. 7.34 runner, left field/first base tools on defense, good athlete and stays balanced working through balls, makes accurate throws from a low elbow release, arm strength presently lacking for third base at the next level. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.
