Austin Dennis is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Rockledge, FL who attends Rockledge HS. Lean young build, has some wiry strength. Right handed hitter, quick compact swing from a quiet approach, swings hard and has some bat speed, aggressive hitter, line drive swing plane, hard pull contact. 6.89 runner, very nice defensive actions, quick and balanced to the ball, soft hands, good arm strength with carry, tools to stay in the middle infield at the next level. Also pitched, low 3/4's to side arm arm slot, whippy arm action. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with big running and sinking action, big sweeping curveball, rare change up, has two-way potential with his arm slot and movement. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team for this showcase.
