Jose Ciccarello is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Alonso HS. Compact athletic build with good present strength. 6.79 runner, quick on his feet on defense, lower arm slot throwing but with very good raw arm strength, makes accurate throws, has good footwork and soft hands at the ball, can probably play all over the infield well. Right handed hitter, crouched spread stance, simple load and stride, short inside swing path, has hand quickness and the ball comes off the barrel well, showed hitting rhythm and good sequencing in his swing, middle of the field approach, probably has more power in there if he chooses to open up his swing. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
