Tyler Adams is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Auburn, GA who attends Apalachee. Adams has a medium sized frame with a solid build. Defensively he moves to the ball well with solid infield actions. He has clean transfers with soft hands. Adams has arm strength up to 78 MPH on the infield and 79 MPH from the outfield. He projects best defensively on the infield. At the plate, Adams starts with an open stance with a lower hand set. He has a rotational swing with some bat speed. Adams swings up to the ball and looks to lift. He put good swings on the ball in game and hit a hard line drive off a 92 MPH fastball. Adams pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He pitches with some effort and has an upright finish. Adams throws an 11/5 curveball at 68 MPH. Very good student.
