Austin Crisp is a 2016 OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove HS. Big and strong athletic build. 7.44 runner, good footwork in the outfield, gathers well, over the top arm slot with good present arm strength, makes strong and accurate throws. Left handed hitter, open crouched stance, short inside swing path, works the middle of the field, has some hand quickness and is fluid through contact, flashed some pull power during BP and can add to that power by opening up his swing a bit. Good overall athlete with some tools and skills. Good student. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect Team.
