Marcos Santa is a 2015 IF/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Yabucoa, PR who attends Ramon Quinones Medina. Strong well proportioned athletic build. Very fluid and balanced actions defensively, plays under control defensively, good exchange and release with arm strength and very good carry on throws, foot speed and quickness profile best at third base in the future. Right handed hitter, simple fundamental swing approach, short swing with good hand quickness, solid mid field line drive contact, projectable hitting tools. Also pitched and showed two-way potential. Slow based step back delivery, stays on line and balanced well, compact arm action with a tight 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped at 86 mph, big running action at times. Slurve type breaking ball with good depth and sweeping action, spots the ball well, rare change up. Solid all around athlete and performer. Good student.
