Todd Peterson is a 2016 RHP with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Lake Mary, FL who attends Lake Mary HS. Strong build with wide hips and a strong lower half. Long arm action working to a high 3/4's release, will open front side early at times. Upper 80's fastball, flashed low 90's a couple of times early, mostly straight with some downhill angle. Nice change up was his best off-speed offering this outing, nice arm speed with fade and diving action at the plate. Tended to slow arm on his breaking ball, flashed some 11/5 depth on it when releasing it out front. Worked around the zone with all his pitches and was effective when working down. Have seen up to 93-94 in the past. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
