Brian Delgado is a 2014 OF/LHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Caguas Military/Sport Academy. Slender young build, plenty of room to fill out. 7.32 runner, moves to the ball well in the outfield, good fundamentals, accurate on line throws, arm strength still developing but projects. Left handed hitter, closed stance, rotational swing, stays short to the ball, good balance, spray line drive contact, finds the barrel consistently, has the basics to improve with additional strength. Also pitched, exaggerated over the top release, pause in delivery, fastball topped at 73 mph, soft short curveball. Good student.
