Danny Wondrack is a 2015 C with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Wall, NJ who attends Wall. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders and a strong, mature frame. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sound receiving skills behind the plate, short arm action, accurate throws to the base with nice arm strength and carry, quick release, tends to get tall at release. Nice glove work at first base, blocks well, picks throws in the dirt. Right-handed hitter, starts with a spread base, stays balanced through swing. Short quick swing with lift, hard line drive contact to pull side, fires lower half through swing well, ball jumps when squared, aggressive approach, strength plays in swing. Nice hitting tools, named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
