Zach Patterson is a 2013 OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from West Burlington, IA who attends Burlington HS. Large frame with room to fill, athletic solid build. Has a long arm action in the outfield, good arm strength, arm works, good throws, loose arm, accurate, fields through the ball, good feet, good actions. Slightly open wide base at the plate, good approach, shows bat speed, has pop in his bat, stays inside the ball well, gets leverage in his swing, squares the ball up. Has good speed on bases, is an interesting prospect to follow, and is an excellent student.
