Jack Khawly is a 2016 3B/SS/OF with a 6-1 198 lb. frame from Southwest Ranches, FL who attends Somerset Academy Charter. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and nice present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.05 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves well on feet and shows range to the backhand, hands play out front, extra step at release and shows strength and carry across the diamond on throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high back elbow in the box. Upper body swing, swings hard and shows shows quickness to hands. Generates nice bat speed and shows good leverage at contact, occasionally gets too inside with approach but shows loud contact and big carry when squared off the barrel. Signed with Miami.
