Jacob McClure is a 2012 C/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Mandeville, LA who attends Lakeshore. McClure has a medium, athletic build. He has an even stance at the plate, uses lower half well, gets hips through, good batspeed, looks to pull, head down on ball well, cuts off swing a bit but still has good plane, aggressive approach. Very wide base behind the plate, quick hands, overhand release, solid transfer. He is a good student.
