Samuel Atwell is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends Trinity Catholic. Has a large projectable frame with a good athletic build. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot on the mound with good repeatable mechanics, has a short quick easy arm action with deception to his delivery. Throws his fastball with arm side run and is able to command it to both sides of the plate, fastball gets on hitters quick, should mix in his curveball more. At the plate has a toe-tap trigger, has a good swing, makes consistent contact at the plate with pop in his bat. Is an outstanding student.
