Thomas Carey is a 2013 1B/3B, OF with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Havertown, PA who attends Haverford. Tall, strong, athletic frame. Showed some solid actions fielding at first base. Right handed hitter with wide base. Gets leverage in swing. Line drive swing plane, slightly open. Showed strength in bat, Strong swing with present power and projection for more with minor mechanical adjustments. Long backside, long swing with extension. Excellent student.
