2004 Underclass National Showcase
Nathan Barton -- Barton is a wiry strong junior outfielder from Virginia. He showed us good bat speed with a nice level swing and an aggressive swing approach. Barton took a good batting practice and hit a couple of balls real hard in games. It looks like he is going to hit at the next level and with power. Barton’s other tools are pretty solid as well. He’s a good runner who threw 82 mph from the outfield, showing some arm strength. Overall he's very good on defense. Nathan is a good student. He's a player to watch closely.
