Troy Lewis is a 2012 SS/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Geismar, LA who attends Dutchtown HS. Compact athletic frame with very good present strength. 6.94 runner, low hand start at the plate, good raw bat speed, hands get to the ball quickly, high extended finish, trying to lift and barrel not on plane for long, can drive the ball out of the park. Good infield arm strength, accurate throws, moves well to the ball, release is long and over the top, hands will need more softening. Also pitched, simple turn and throw delivery, high 3/4's release, upper 80's fastball, big slurve type breaking ball, repeats well and throws strikes. Two-way potential. Excellent student.
