Alec Rash is a 2012 RHP with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Adel, IA who attends ADM HS. Loose wiry build, will get stronger but might not add much bulk. Tall delivery with lightning quick, compact arm action, hides ball in back, works downhill well, improved consistency and mechanics since early spring. Electric fastball, 93-95 mph with plenty of 95's, plus sink and bore when down in zone. Much improved breaking ball, more a true slider shape and spin, still inconsistent but flashes plus at times. Overthrows change up in game, shows nice feel for pitch in warm ups. Excellent athlete who keeps improving, very high ceiling talent. Signed with Missouri.
