Thaddius Lowry is a 2013 RHP/C with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Spring. Tall lean athletic build. While he didn't have the highest velo of the event, he was arguably the most effective pitcher. Threw easy from a three quarters arm slot at 84-87 downhill with good command. Works quickly, hard late tailing action on fastball, good sink, good command. Splitter was devastating pitch, showed ability to move it in any direction and keep it down in the strike zone well, adds and subtracts velocity with it ranging from 74-80 mph and got a lot of swings & misses with it. Also showed well behind the plate, popped a 1.94 in the workout and showed a polished hit tool with some power. Good two-way prospect, future likely on the mound. Excellent student.
