Weston Lewis is a 2008 OF/P/1B with a 6'3'', 185 lb. frame from Windsor, CO who attends Loveland. Weston came to this event with a hamstring injury, but still participated in the full workout and both of his games. He ran an impressive 7.10 in the 60 despite his injury and showed that speed on the bases as well. In the field he has good footwork and a good exchange. He is accurate with his throws from first base and the outfield, and squares up to his target on each throw. He does a good job of staying down and working through the ball. His release gets long at times. He has a tall, slender, and athletic frame with some present strength in his upper body. He also has good tone in his legs. He hits from an open stance and throws his hands at the ball well. He makes good contact to the opposite field. He is athletic in the box, and runs everything out. On the mound he is lanky, with some arm speed. He had a difficult time facing left handed hitters, but flashed a solid changeup. Weston is a good student.
