Braydon Dutton is a 2028 C/1B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Bondurant, IA who attends Bondurant-Farrar. Works from a lean frame with some physical upside. Primary catcher, starts in a wider squared stance with open feet, utilizes a midline transfer and compact arm stroke, kept the throws around the bag, recorded arm strength up to 65 mph and a pop time of 2.19. Right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, utilizes a belt-high leg lift, breaks into a deeper arm path, releases from a high three-quarters slot, displayed athletic movements down the slope, filled up the zone with the fastball, showed some late sink and topped out at 73 mph, landed a bigger 12-6 curveball down in the zone for swings and misses, projects for more velocity as he continues to add strength to his frame. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a low back elbow, gathers over the back-side, utilizes a short and direct stroke, has some strength at impact, showcased some power potential from gap to gap, recorded an exit velocity of 78 mph.
