Trevor Ervin is a 2028 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-0 88 lb. frame from Anderson, CA who attends Foothill. Features a smaller/lean build with plenty of room and time to add strength/athleticism. Ran an 8.96 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed a solid approach where his feet worked through the baseball well fielding it clean while flashing some quickness to release. His arm action was shorter in the back and worked loose to release where he got slightly uphill with his shoulders producing some higher acring throws. In the INF, he showed quality active feet but glove showed lateness at times. Did show a decent exchange which helped with quickness to release. From both spots, he exhibited avg. arm strength for his level. At the plate, he sits in a narrow stance and uses a toe tap trigger. He stays tall with his posture throughout the swing and delivers the barrel on a flatter path through the zone. Used the whole field throughout his round and is still developing impact. On the mound, showed more drop/drive type mechanics. Arm worked clean throughout the action and to release at a ¾ slot. Fastball worked into the low 60s flashing some natural cut to it. Mixed in a low 50s developing slider with some tilting action/shape.
