Joseph Kai Klepfer is a 2027 SS/OF with a 5-8 140 lb. medium sized athletic frame from Maricopa, AZ who attends Mountain Pointe. At the plate he starts in a wide base and gets into his backside leg on load. Showed good hand speed with some moving parts to the mechanics. Uphill swing path with a small leg kick load. Active hands. Primary shortstop with deliberate actions and shorter footwork. Also showed arm strength from the outfield where he performed best. Shorter arm action with clean glove to hand transfer. Developing arm. Clocked a 7.4 60-yard dash. Great student.
