Austin Brown is a 2028 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Heber City, UT who attends Wasatch. Medium, athletic frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, showcases proper footwork moving to the ball and glove technique, has a good arm and showed one-hop accuracy to the intended base, repeats actions. Deliberate tempo away from the first base bag, will continue to refine a consistent release point, glove plays at the ball. Also pitched, athleticism plays, lefty with a smooth effortless delivery. He works away from hitters for the most part working mostly out of the stretch, fastball topped out at 70 mph. He has a sharp curveball that keeps hitters off balance up to 63 mph. He is a quick worker and throws a ton of strikes without any wasted movement. Left-handed hitter at the plate, has a wider base and a simple load. Possesses good bat speed and strength with occasional loft to swing path; showcased a loud barrel when squared and staying on the ball.
