Colton Nakano is a 2028 OF/RHP, 2B, SS, UT with a 5-4 100 lb. frame from Martinez, CA who attends Alhambra. Features a smaller lean build. A primary outfielder. Nakano showed well in the outfield portion where he used proper footwork and glove techniques to get himself into a strong throwing position. Demonstrated he can make all the throws accurately, one hoping the mit with good carry. Offensively starts in a traditional balanced stance with low hands. Showed he has current bat speed and can engage his lower half to generate power. Squared up the baseball on a consistent basis hitting loud line-drives. On the mound Nakano features 2-pitch mix (FB, CB) out of a low 3/4 slot. Shows a repeatable delivery and worked down the mound and was around the zone consistently producing a number of fly balls. Added strength will allow him to challenge hitters more consistently. Pitched two innings collecting two strikeouts.
