Wil Peters is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Westwood. Features a tall, slender build with room to add. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes slight drop and drive mechanics into a crossfire landing. Throws from a high 3/4 slot using a long arm action. Fastball sat 75-79 mph with slight cut actions. Offering works well when elevated. Can generate weak ground balls with the pitch. Pairs it with a curveball at 67-69 mph showing slurve action. Still developing consistent bite to the pitch. Flashed an upper-60s changeup with slight fading action. Used the offering sparingly. Worked out at first base. Moves well around the bag with the ability to make the routine play. Showcased a quick turn on double play feeds. Arm plays at the position. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a more wide base. Swings on a direct path with some strength to the hands. Looks to drive balls to the pullside. Can produce decent power that way when on time. Still developing consistent barrel accuracy. Ran an 8.28 60-yard dash. Excellent student.
