Blake Bargender is a 2024 C/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Abbotsford, WI who attends Abbotsford. Recorded a 7.77 sixty yard dash at the event. Medium build with some strength and projection in frame. Primary catcher. Low and side straddle set up. Stays very low to the ground to start. Transfers across the body around his chest. Not much ground gain through footwork. Low effort throws to second base. Right-handed hitter. Wide base with a high back elbow and hands. Stiffer swing that works in segments currently. Uses the lower half in swing and generates power from the ground up. Shorter swing path with quicker hands. Excellent student.
