2022 Fall Northern California Showcase
Dominic Alvarado is a 2024 3B/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. large, athletic frame from Visalia, CA who attends Central Valley Christian School. Showed well in his defensive round. Fundamentally sound actions. Fields well on backhand and forehand. Was accurate for the most part on throws across the diamond. At the plate Alvarado has a pigeon-toed setup and a slight leg kick load mechanism. Has excellent bat speed and shows he has intent in the swing. Squared up almost every ball in his BP round. Alvarado has over the fence power potential. Clocked a 7.5 60-yard. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
