Evan Houde is a 2010 RHP/OF/IF with a 5'9'', 125 lb. frame from Stafford, VA who attends Brooke Point. Evan has a lean build with a lot of room left to fill out. On the mound Evan has a very good feel for pitching with a high energy and aggressive pitching style. He has a very clean arm action with a short compact arm circle. For his off-speed pitches, Evan has a tight 10 to 4 curveball with very good rotation and a good feel for a straight change-up. Evan works the corners well and really just needs to get stronger to see his velocity take off. At the plate Evan has very sound hitting fundmentals with a quiet hitting approach and good bat head skills. He stays inside the ball and should really blossom as he gets stronger. In the field Evan has the tools to project in both the outfield and the infield. He has good footwork in the outfield with solid actions. In the infield he shows a very quick release and solid second base tools. Evan really knows how to play the game and once he gets bigger and stronger should really take off. He is a player that should attract the attention of many mid-level college programs.
