Tate Carey is a 2024 RHP with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Windsor, ON who attends Riverside. Firm athletic build with good present strength. Has a clean side step/leg raise delivery with a clean and repeatable arm action, high front side, lands closed and throws across his body, pretty low effort release. Fastball topped out at 93 mph, worked mostly around 90 mph and threw lots of fastball strikes, fastball was mostly straight. Change up was a good pitch for him, dropped the slot occasionally but had good arm speed and nice fade. Also threw a low 80's slider with a short break. Excellent student.
