2022 Texas Prospect Showcase
Austin Treadway is a 2025 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Texarkana, TX who attends Texas. Long and slender athletic build with lots of physical projection ahead. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Young actions in the outfield on defense, tends to stop at the ball, short and compact arm action, has good arm speed and carry that would jump up immediately with improved footwork through his throws. Also worked out in the infield. Right handed hitter, hits from a deep hand load, some lower half shift onto his front side, good hand quickness and creates some young barrel whip, projects well offensively with more physical strength. Took a turn on the mound, worked up to 81 mph on his fastball to go with a soft curveball. Nice young athlete who should keep improving in all areas as he gets stronger and gets more repetitions.
