Trundle is an "04" SS/2B switch hitter who can run and hit. At 5'10/180 he shows strength. He is a good athlete who ran a 7 - 60 on a very slow track in Wareham, he's MLB average home to first. He has nice hands and knows what he's doing on the field. His arm needs to get better in order to play SS at the next level. The bat is a big tool. This kid can really hit and from both sides. He looked a bit better from the right in BP, with a real good technical swing and great bat speed. In the games he fought off a Jay Rainville 92 mph heater and got a broken bat single. E.J. is a good student.
