Justin Parkes is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-6 220 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Gilbert. XL frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Primary lefthanded pitcher, good direction to plate through delivery, hides the ball well through the back, fastball worked 75-80 mph with late life, commanded the pitch well, showed changeup with solid action, also flashed a splitter with dive and very low spin. Worked out at 1st base, waits back on the ball and shows average hands. Hits from even stance with high back elbow, sinks into lower half and creates pull approach, spins off. Very good student.
