Drew Markey is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Alexandria, VA who attends Bishop O'Connell. Medium athletic build with good strength in his lower half. Works from the stretch with a high 3/4's arm slot, medium length stride down the mound, hides the ball well, does a very good job of repeating his mechanics for his age. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, pounded the strike zone with his fastball and was in complete control for three innings. Stayed on top of his breaking ball well and threw it for strikes as well. Has all the elements to keep developing as a pitcher with physical maturity. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.
