Aaron Dierks is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Springfield, VA who attends West Springfield. Large frame with length and present muscularity and a lot of time to add and refine with time. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds. Primary position RHP, working from the stretch only and on the 1B side of the rubber. Sets hands below the belt and works through a deep and offline arm path before accelerating through an over the top path. Tends to get some torso tilt in transition down the slope and will run away from his arm here and there. Arm strength is there, showing FB up to 84 mph with cutting action as he gets to the outside of the ball with his fingers. High spin traits on his heater at 2,300+ rpm and showed advanced spin on his vertical CB with over 2,600 rpms here. Landed off speed for strikes at will. Plenty of projection left here. Secondary IF, showing a methodical operation and clean smooth glove work. Deeper funnel to nice transfer and generated throws up to 82 mph across the diamond. Corner defender actions. RHH working from a balanced stance and good handset in front of torso over the plate. When on time there is real bat speed with dense strength at impact. Ball gets off his barrel and likes to work inside the ball. Power oriented overall skillset and he is an excellent student at well. Named to the Coastal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
