Kolton Brogdon is a 2027 SS/C/RHP with a 5-4 110 lb. frame from Saint Simons Island, GA who attends Glynn Academy. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to grow and develop physically moving forward. Ran an 8.43 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well in the dirt, throws with intent and shows accuracy and carry across the diamond, smooth with hands and shows ability to adjust when needed; fields the ball out front with two hands in the outfield, kept throws low, will continue to develop overall actions. Also pitched, nice tempo to delivery, works to a high three-quarters release point, fastball topped out at 68 mph and effective when in zone, tends to drop slot on release of curveball which was up to 58 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; keeps hands inside the baseball and employs a contact oriented approach. Gets front foot down and works on a linear plane while showing some present quickness to hands, best contact shows line drive carry, will continue to develop with added strength. Aggressive on the bases in live action and plays with energy.
